The SMS text voting lines will open on Sunday, 1st August 2010 and remain open until entrants have completed their routine on stage at the Grand Final hosted by Cruz 101. This will be approximately 01:45am on the morning of Thursday 26th August 2010. This time is subject to change. Announcements will be made on the night.

SMS Text Costs: Text votes cost 50p per message + one standard rate network charge. 33p from each message will automatically be donated to the Manchester Pride Community Fund. The remaining 17p from every message are applied to aggregator fees by the SMS service provider. The total cost will therefore be dependent on the entrant’s network.

SMS Entry Terms: SMS entrants are required to send a text to the shortcode as indicated in the competition information. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any SMS entry charges. TheGayVillageOnline.com, Village Rear of the Year or any of its other supporters or sponsors do not profit from any message you send to the SMS number.

SMS entrants will receive a SMS confirmation text message of their entry, which may include information about the event, its sponsor or other services relating to the competition. SMS entrants will not receive marketing messages as this service is not subscription based.

You will receive two texts messages only! One is a confirmation of your vote and the other is a thank you message from TheGayVillageOnline.com and link to Manchester Pride.
